Orfila Forum

The Orfila Forum was founded by Antonio Álvarez-Ossorio in the year 2004.

The principal purpose of the Orfila Forum was to periodically bring together a group of friends within a pleasant environment, at a time when civil society has a growing importance and impact in our daily lives, but busy professional agendas obstruct its practice.

The choice of setting for the meeting was of primordial importance and to this effect Antonio Álvarez-Ossorio reached an agreement with the Orfila Hotel, member of the select elite of the capital’s luxury hotels, of which only 13 establishments form part.  Similarly, in the year 2001, the hotel was incorporated into the Relais&Chateaux chain which brings together the most prestigious hotels in the world.  It is located in calle Orfila, in an emblematic mansion built in 1886.

The spirit and distinguishing feature of this forum lies in the friendship of its members.  The Orfila Forum is above all a gathering of friends.

It currently consists of 26 members, amongst whom are people occupying important public positions, presidents and managing directors of large entities, radio and television journalists and a long list of excellent professionals who share their experiences and their friendship within unique surroundings.
